Rocky Mountain Aero Group’s recent Young Eagles Rally at KGWS | Sumers Airpark was a soaring success, with 41 flights completed, 63 passengers flown, and 35 young people experiencing aviation firsthand. In partnership with EAA Young Eagles, Aspen Flight Academy, Colorado River BOCES, and dedicated community volunteers, the event sparked curiosity, inspired future aviation dreams, and strengthened the pathway for youth aviation and aerospace opportunities across Colorado’s Roaring Fork Valley.

Rocky Mountain Aero Group will serve as the sponsoring organization for the relaunch of Explorer Post 777, giving high school students across the Roaring Fork Valley hands-on exposure to aviation careers through mentorship, workshops, and airport experiences.

Rocky Mountain Aero Group was created to strengthen the future of aviation through education, mentorship, and industry leadership. Based in the Roaring Fork Valley, the organization connects aviation professionals, students, and community partners to build new pathways into aviation and aerospace careers.
