Launch of Rocky Mountain Aero Group

Rocky Mountain Aero Group was created with a simple but ambitious vision: to strengthen the future of aviation through leadership, education, and community collaboration.

Based in Colorado’s Roaring Fork Valley, Rocky Mountain Aero Group brings together two complementary missions under one organization. On one side, the group provides aviation security expertise and consulting services to support airports and aviation operators. On the other, it works to inspire the next generation of aviation professionals through youth programs, mentorship, and hands on learning opportunities.

Aviation plays a critical role in connecting mountain communities like ours to the rest of the world. At the same time, the industry faces a growing need for skilled professionals across many fields including piloting, engineering, airport operations, aviation security, and aerospace technology.

Rocky Mountain Aero Group was formed to help bridge that gap by connecting students, industry professionals, and community partners across the region.

Through initiatives like the Rocky Mountain Aviation & Aerospace Club, the organization is creating new pathways for students to explore aviation careers while building relationships with airports, educators, and aviation professionals throughout the valley.
