  • Yes. Donations supporting Rocky Mountain Aero Group's youth education and community outreach programs are made through the Rocky Mountain Aviation & Aerospace Foundation (RMAAF), a federally recognized 501(c)(3) public charity.

    The Rocky Mountain Aviation & Aerospace Foundation is recognized by the Internal Revenue Service as a tax-exempt organization under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code and is classified as a public charity under Section 170(b)(1)(A)(vi). Contributions are tax-deductible to the fullest extent permitted by law.

    A written acknowledgment (donation receipt) will be provided for all charitable contributions. Please consult your tax advisor regarding the deductibility of your contribution and your specific tax situation.

  • Your contribution directly supports youth aviation programs in the Roaring Fork Valley. Funds support discovery flights, aviation STEM workshops, mentorship opportunities with pilots and other aviation professionals, and program materials that introduce local students to careers in aviation and aerospace.

  • Yes. We welcome volunteers who are passionate about aviation, education, and mentorship. Pilots, engineers, aviation professionals, and community members can support the program through mentorship, events, workshops, and student engagement opportunities.

  • Yes. We welcome in-kind contributions such as aviation equipment, STEM materials, educational resources, event support, and aviation experiences. These donations help expand program opportunities for students.

  • Yes. Donations may be made in honor or memory of someone who has inspired a passion for aviation or education. If requested, we can acknowledge the dedication and notify the honoree or their family.

  • Local businesses and aviation organizations can support the program through corporate sponsorships, event partnerships, and program funding. Sponsors help expand aviation education opportunities for youth while demonstrating their commitment to the community.   • The Rocky Mountain Aviation & Aerospace Club primarily serves middle school and high school students, generally ages 11–18, who are interested in aviation, aerospace, and STEM careers. Some introductory activities and community events may also be open to younger students to spark early curiosity about aviation.

  • Students participate through school partnerships, community outreach, and program enrollment. For special opportunities such as discovery flights or scholarships, students may be selected based on interest in aviation, participation in program activities, and availability of sponsored flight experiences.
