Rocky Mountain Aero Group (RMAG) is a Colorado-based aviation organization dedicated to strengthening the future of aviation through industry expertise, education, workforce development, and community engagement.
By combining real-world aviation experience with a commitment to youth opportunity, RMAG helps connect students, communities, and industry professionals while supporting a stronger aviation ecosystem throughout the Rocky Mountain region.
Who We Are
Founded in Colorado's Roaring Fork Valley, Rocky Mountain Aero Group was created to bridge the gap between aviation professionals and the next generation of leaders, innovators, and problem-solvers.
Our work spans two complementary areas:
Professional Aviation Services
Supporting airports, aviation organizations, and industry stakeholders through expertise in aviation security, safety, operations, compliance, and workforce development.
Youth Aviation & Aerospace Programs
Creating meaningful pathways into aviation and aerospace through hands-on learning, mentorship, career exploration, educational programming, and community partnerships.
Together, these efforts help strengthen both today's aviation industry and tomorrow's workforce.
Where We Come From
Our roots are firmly planted in Colorado's Roaring Fork Valley.
We understand that many young people grow up surrounded by airports, aircraft, and aviation activity, yet never realize that these environments can lead to rewarding and impactful careers. For many students, aviation feels distant or inaccessible despite being part of the communities where they live.
By connecting students with professionals, mentors, airports, and educational opportunities, we help transform curiosity into confidence and exposure into opportunity. Our goal is to ensure that every young person can see a place for themselves in the future of aviation and aerospace.

Our Nonprofit Mission
To expand educational opportunities and remove barriers to entry for young people pursuing aviation and aerospace careers through mentorship, scholarships, hands-on learning, and industry partnerships.
Through the Rocky Mountain Aviation & Aerospace Foundation, RMAG supports youth programs and community initiatives that help students discover, explore, and pursue opportunities within aviation and aerospace.

A future where every young person has access to meaningful aviation and aerospace opportunities, and where the next generation of pilots, engineers, air traffic controllers, airport professionals, aviation security specialists, technicians, and industry leaders emerges from the communities we serve.
Our Programs
RMAG's educational initiatives connect students with aviation professionals, real-world experiences, and meaningful career exploration opportunities.
Programs include: RMAG Young Eagles Club, Aviation Exploring – Explorer Post 777, Aviation Summer Camps, and Future Scholarship & Workforce Development Initiatives
Serving communities throughout Aspen, Basalt, Carbondale, Glenwood Springs, New Castle, Rifle, and beyond, these programs help students discover opportunities within aviation and aerospace while building the knowledge, confidence, and connections needed to pursue them.
