KRIL RUNWAY TO ADVENTURE - YOUNG EAGLES RALLY
Runway to Adventure is Rocky Mountain Aero Group's newest aviation outreach event, bringing youth, families, and the community together for a day of aviation discovery at Rifle Garfield County Airport (KRIL).
Featuring the EAA Young Eagles Rally, eligible youth ages 8 - 17 will have the opportunity to experience the excitement of flight aboard a general aviation aircraft, flown by FAA-certified volunteer pilots participating in the EAA Young Eagles program.
Beyond the flights, attendees will enjoy an immersive aviation experience that introduces them to the many careers, technologies, and opportunities found throughout the aviation and airport industries.
Whether you're dreaming of becoming a pilot, aircraft mechanic, engineer, air traffic controller, airport manager, or want to learn more about aviation, Runway to Adventure offers something for everyone.
